Becoming "cat lady" is far easier than you'd think. It all starts with one random cat in the backyard. You feel sorry for her, so you decide you'll give her a handful of cat food. Then she comes back, and brings her friends, and this becomes a daily routine, and all of a sudden, you've become "the cat lady." No appreciation from the cats though.
