LACMA's Tim Burton exhibit proved to be an unexpectedly detailed and thorough exhibit, containing his numerous sketches and other forms of artwork throughout his life. Well worth it! Right across the hall is another exhibit currently open titled, "Gifts of the Sultan: The Arts of Giving at the Islamic Courts." While photography was not allowed inside the Tim Burton exhibit (which is exactly why we took advantage of it outside), I have some moments from the Islamic Art exhibit (and the food trucks outside) here.
