First time at a wedding expo, this one titled "Rani Bridal Expo" at the Pasadena Convention Center. It was a "mommy and me" day out really, came back with random brochures and a purse for the sister. For the amount of desis in LA, and for the crazy number of weddings that occur here, I was surprised at the low turnout (and size of the event itself). Could the effects of the economy have reached even desi people's obsession with weddings?!
I highly doubt it.
