Normal tasks like shopping at a local grocery remain mini-examples of a strange kind of globalization, at least of western name brands. But the news of the day is actually the global triumph of the people - news channels here in Lahore covered breaking news of triumph in Egypt in between the news of the PIA pilots' strike issue.
